Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is an integrative profession that practices preventative medicine, addresses root cause of illness, and supports the body’s own healing ability using a variety of natural therapies. It uses an integrative approach providing individualized treatments and preventative medicine to maintain a healthier lifestyle.

Naturopathic doctors go through a four-year intensive program at an accredited institute after completing an undergraduate degree. During the four years, we are trained in almost the same courses as medical schools, with the addition of courses covering our modalities.

The practice of naturopathy takes on its approach to health and healing by a guided set of unique principles:
• First, do no harm
• Heal the whole person through individualized care
• Address the fundamental causes of disease
• Teach the principles of healthy living and preventative medicine
• Support the healing power of the body
