Asaya Health Pte Ltd uses the collected data for various purposes:

- to provide and maintain our Service;

- to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so;

- to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service;

- to monitor the usage of our Service;

Retention of Data

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

You may request access to your Personal Data records, but please note we may charge an administrative cost to respond to your request for information, such as the printing or postage and any costs that we may incur in order to respond to your requests. 

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Asaya Health Pte Ltd will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.


Security of Data

Asaya Health Pte Ltd is committed to ensuring that your personal data is protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. The collection, use and disclosure of your personal data, which will be obtained directly from you, or information we obtain as a result of our relationship with you, may include but is not limited to the following purposes:
• To render healthcare services and meeting your healthcare needs within Asaya Health Pte Ltd
• To transfer or share your data with other members of Asaya Health Pte Ltd or third party vendors engaged by us for the purpose of rendering healthcare services to you. These parties may be located outside of Singapore.
• To communicate with your employer or insurer for claims, reinsurance and compliance/audit purposes pertaining to your care.
• To respond to your enquiries and feedback as well as to provide advice and services for purposes of ensuring continuity of care.
• To provide you with marketing information about our goods and services.
• To notify you of our marketing events, initiatives, membership programmes, rewards schemes, offers and promotions.
• To comply with any applicable laws, regulations, guidelines or rules administered by, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by, any governmental or regulatory authority.

Please note that in order for us to render healthcare services to meet your healthcare needs, it will be necessary for us to process your personal data. Without a complete record of your information, it will affect our capacity to accomplish our purposes stated above.

We will retain your personal information either for the period of our business relationship or, for the requisite retention periods as stipulated in any contractual arrangements or under any applicable law, whichever ends later.

We will endeavour to take reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal data that we collect and/or process are accurately reflected in our system in accordance with the details provided by you. The accuracy of the personal data depends to a large extent upon the information you provide. If you would like to update your existing data given to us, you may approach our staff.

Due to the sensitive nature of the data, all requests for access to the information have to be made in person and the following relevant original documents are required for requests to update the information:

  • For change in name, please provide original NRIC, deed poll or marriage certificate.
  • For change in NRIC/FIN/Passport No., please provide the original NRIC, FIN or passport
  • For change in local or foreign residential address, please provide one of the following documents (dated or valid within the last 3 months)
    1) Telecommunication/Internet bill/ Utilities bill
    2) Statement/letter from HDB
    3) Credit Card/ Bank/ Insurance Statement
    4) Tenancy agreement for residence

The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you.

You may at any time withdraw any consent given for the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data for any purpose. We will inform and advise you accordingly on the possible consequences that will arise if we accede to your withdrawal request, as it may impact our ability to render services to you. “Do Not Track” Signals
